The National Rallye Committee and several volunteers are hard at working putting together what will be a unique expedition and offroad event, drawing participants from all corners of the US and Canada.

The two part rally will include a 6 day, 1,300 mile expedition beginning in Duluth, MN, circling Lake Superior and ending with a traditional offroad weekend at the nationally recognized offroad park in Gilbert, MN.

Mark your calendars now! The Circle Tour will leave Duluth, MN on Sunday, August 3rd, and the weekend Rallye in Gilbert will kick off on Friday, August 8.

Last month we opened by saying, "Ahhh, spring". And then the temperature plummeted. And then the snows came. The MN4WDA Spring Convention? Made interesting by over 12 inches of snow - at the end of April! How wrong we were about Spring! With regards to weather, anyway.

There is another Spring upon us, in the form of the new "Youngest Member" of the MNLR - Vincent Monico!

Yes, Scott and Elizabeth Monico introduced little 7lb 8oz Vincent on April 22. In honor of this most glorious of events, we've chosen to have the people who DO the Roving as the ROVERs of the Month for May, 2008, which will forever be known as Vincent Monico's first month of Roving.
